New Spring Issue!
Issue #63
I’m pleased to announce that the new spring issue of Edible Santa Barbara is ready to drop! This issue’s theme: We have work to do.
Follow @EdibleSB on Instagram, where updates will be posted about where you can find copies of the issue. Hint: If you want to get your hands on some of the first issues, try the Saturday morning farmers market in downtown Santa Barbara!
Some New Menus
Santa Barbara — Bistro Amasa at The Upham, a sister restaurant to Barbareño, is rolling out weekend brunch starting tomorrow! Have a peek at their menu.
I had lunch there recently on the veranda, and it was delightful. Hotel food can sometimes feel like an afterthought, but when it’s done well, dining locally can feel like a little vacation.
Santa Barbara — Another new menu comes from The Black Sheep, which they rolled out just today. This one brings back some old favorites from Black Sheep 1.0, when it first opened as a more casual bistro adjacent to Seagrass 2.0. This makes sense, as it appears their former chef is opening his own space, according to The Restaurant Guy. As long as Chef Robert Perez is there overseeing things, the food will be good. Here is the menu.
Thanks for reading — I hope you have a pleasant weekend.
